Molybdenum disilicide (MoSi2) heating elements are made of high-purity molybdenum disilicide. Under the oxidizing atmosphere, the MoSi2 element forms a dense quartz glass protective film on the surface of the high temperature burning to prevent the continuous oxidation of molybdenum disilicide. In an oxidizing atmosphere, the maximum operating temperature can reach 1800 °C, and the usual applicable temperature is 500-1700 °C.
MoSi2 heating elements are commonly used in ceramics, magnets, glass, metallurgy and refractory materials as sintering and heat treatment. We can provide ED type, W type, U type, L type or other customized products according to customer’s applications.
