Tungsten Carbide Nozzle

Tungsten Carbide Nozzle

Tungsten carbide nozzle is mainly used for cooling drill teeth, flushing mud and cleaning bottom hole cuttings when tools such as PDC bits and roller cone bits are used for oil and gas drilling.

Cemented carbide has a series of excellent properties such as high hardness, wear resistance, good strength and toughness, heat resistance and corrosion resistance, especially its high hardness and wear resistance, which remain basically unchanged even at a temperature of 500 °C , still has high hardness at 1000℃. Cemented carbide is widely used as tool material, such as turning tools, milling cutters, planers, drills, boring tools, etc., for cutting cast iron, non-ferrous metals, plastics, chemical fibers, graphite, glass, stone and ordinary steel, and can also be used for cutting difficult-to-machine materials such as heat-resistant steel, stainless steel, high manganese steel, tool steel, etc. Cemented carbide nozzles offer the advantage of economy and longer service life when rough handling and media for cutting abrasives (glass beads, steel shot, steel grit, minerals or cinders) cannot be avoided.

Advantages of carbide nozzles: Corrosion resistance, long service life, excellent performance, cost-effective, and not easy to wear.

Tungsten carbide nozzles are designed according to different uses. Generally, there are cemented carbide straight hole nozzles, cemented carbide porous nozzles, cemented carbide mound hole nozzles, and cemented carbide wide-throat nozzles.
